About Me
Me
I am a performer, director and writer working across theatre and film. I trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and graduated in 2020.
I am proud of who I am. Every day I manage a complex, constantly changing set of responsibilities: living with type 1 diabetes, navigating Crohn’s disease, staying seven years sober, suffer from anxiety and depression and carrying the values of a working-class upbringing. Each of these parts shapes me, and together they make up me as a creative today.
My practice is rooted in socially engaged storytelling, new writing, and collaboration. I’m drawn to work that explores power, resistance, identity and community — often through intimate, actor-driven performance.
Background
Since graduating, I’ve performed in theatre and film, including Headlining at the Edinburgh Fringe, Shoddy Detective on a UK tour, and the feature film True Things. Alongside performing, I direct and write new work, often in collaboration with emerging artists.
Values
I believe theatre should be accessible, ethical and rooted in community. This belief led me to co-found Broken Gods Productions, a CIC dedicated to socially impactful work, fair pay, eco-conscious practice and free creative workshops for schools, charities and underserved groups.
